As a part of aging you get a boost called your “incline”

Basically this is a bank of power that builds dependent on what you do from ages 8-13.

You gain twice as much incline from ages 10-13 as you do from 8 to 10. This is so people can worry less about gaining or being dead and work on getting a grav machine and weights.

You do not earn incline while dead but can work on other passives, so a lot of people prefer to die early on and train for a while but it is unnecessary, Incline is just free BP from aging and someone will pass you up easily working on gravity and weights while you worry about incline.

After turning age 13 you start to get this incline BP released to you slowly. It takes about 10 years until you will have claimed 100% of your incline no matter the amount (it gains by a % each tick you’re alive and aging) and from there you’re basically a full adult.

Everybody has a certain decline age. After you hit decline, your inclined power will start dropping for about 10 years, at which point you will die of old age.

To fuel the progression of characters and grant reward from rebirth there are something called “life experiences” which I’d probably describe as micro quests. Basically they’re things youd do anyways (like medding 3 hrs or killing 100npcs, etc) , but spread upon many different characters. When you rebirth your life experiences progress carrys on to the next character you make. (You can see LEs by going to top left of window, event>life experiences)
Completing these life experiences gives you “growth points” which we will talk about in a second.

After dying of old age you will be sent to the death reaper who will allow you to make a new character with a different race, name, trait, body size, etc, all the beginning stuff.
Your life experiences that earn growth points will carry over.
Your SKILL BASED masteries (such as flight drain, zanzo drain, delays) will carry over. (The moves have to be relearned)
15% of your grav mastery will carry over.
50% of your craft skills will carry over
Your net income and galactic class will carry over.
You will keep all your inventory items.
Your passives (sword skill, bought passives, etc) will be wiped.
Your form masteries like SSJ, etc will be wiped.
Your normal quest progress will be wiped.
Your stats will be wiped and your caps will go back to normal per post new char creation.

After you create your rebirth, you will go back to the reaper. From here you will be able to distribute your growth points to a few different things(stats, bp, etc.)
You dont actually spend growth points, they carry over as they are linked to life experiences and are what drive rebirth to be worth waiting for. Every time you rebirth you will have more control over deciding your character’s build is like, as well as being able to push its power further than the character before it (though you’ll have to work to become strong again)

As of right now you can put growth points into 7 things. BP, Strength, Defense, Force, Resistance, Speed, and Energy Manipulation.

Per 1 GP you will get:
+2BP mod or
+1 stat mod +100 stat cap in same stat or
+10k zenni or
+10 Energy Manip and 0.5 Energy Manip Mod

You will gain +3 ages to your decline age per rebirth.
After distributing the points you will be teleported to your race spawn.
Lastly, rebirthing increases your chances to roll a higher potential or a character potential. Per rebirth it adds a 1% chance to the existing chance for these things so it is much much more likely to get a special thing from rebirthing than it is from just making a new character.
